All are welcome to join our adult community chorus beginning Tues Jan 16, from 7-9pm. This session, we'll be singing selections from three musicals: Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, and Rent. Performance date is TBA

Registration for our winter semester of early childhood programs, for birth to age 6, is open. The semester runs from Jan 2 - March 17 (10 weeks), and there is a spring semester scheduled for March 26 - June 16 (10 weeks).
The keyboard classes are open for registration - the spring semester runs from Jan 15 - May 19 (16 weeks)

Apple Tree Arts was awarded a $219,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund (CFF) for the continued renovation of the Great Hall and the studios and classrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors!!
We have the matching funds required to receive the grant. Donna Blanchard, executive director of Apple Tree Arts was thrilled to be given the grant for the second time from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. “It’s an amazing honor to receive a grant commensurate with the amount highly worthy organizations in the state received,” said Blanchard. The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Museum of Science and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum were given a similar amount.
The MCFF received 131 applications for the highly competitive grant round with $28 million sought for projects. The awards included 61 capital grants totaling about $8.9 million and 18 planning grants totally about $400,000. Integrated sound and lighting systems, black-out window treatments, stage rigging and curtains for the Great Hall are all included in the grant, as well as providing audio equipment and smart boards for Apple Tree Arts’ classrooms and practice studios on the second and third floor of the building.

We are launching a Share a Chair Fundraiser! For only $250, families can sponsor a chair for the Great Hall. Each chair will be outfitted with a plaque honoring a person of your choice: a student, a parent, or in memory of a loved one. These chairs will be used for performances and events in the Great Hall for years to come!
The community chorus will perform Handel's Messiah in the Great Hall at Apple Tree Arts on Friday, December 1, at 7pm. The performance includes four professional soloists and a chamber orchestra.
Tickets will be available at the door.
